Welcome to Cutchogue

CUTCHOGUE is a small hamlet on the North Fork established in the 17th century. The “Old House”, built in 1649, sits on the Greens and is a National Historic Landmark. Cutchogue is home to restaurants, beautiful beaches and wineries. Cutchogue’s many creeks, with access to Peconic Bay, make it a boater’s paradise. Cutchogue was noted by National Geographic magazine as the “sunniest spot in New York.” Cutchogue residents have two gorgeous beaches to choose from. The first beach is Pequash Park with a views of Cutchogue Harbor and Robins Island. The second is the famed Causeway Beach with a wide stretch of sand leading to the shores of Nassau Point!
A nine hole golf course is also tucked away in this quiet town known to some as the valley of churches!

Cutchogue is home to the elementary school which serves the Mattituck/Cutchogue School District. These students then attend Mattituck Junior and Senior High School on the Main Road in Mattituck.
