Welcome to New Suffolk
NEW SUFFOLK is a beautiful fishing village located on Peconic Bay. It was also home to the First Submarine Base. The hamlet is well known for its creeks, boatyards, fishing stations and all things nautical in addition to a restaurant and boutique. New Suffolk is part of Cutchogue’s Park District, but most rather enjoy their own beach overlooking the beautiful and pristine Robins Island. This beach is a must go destination for a front row sandy seat, to it’s Sailboat races every Wednesday evening in season!
New Suffolk has a small ball field which also fills in as this tiny hamlet’s village green. A sunny afternoon brings local fishermen out to the tiny bridge over New Suffolk’s pristine and quiet enclave of Kimogenor Point.
New Suffolk has the smallest elementary school on all of Long Island. The number of students is 15. New Suffolk students go to the Southold High School for their middle and high school education.
